Account Based Selling (ABS)

A targeted sales strategy in which a company focuses its sales efforts on a specific set of high-value accounts. This approach involves a deep understanding of each target account’s unique needs, challenges, and decision-making processes. Sales teams work closely with marketing and customer success teams to create highly personalized and coordinated outreach efforts. The objective of ABS is to build strong, lasting relationships with key stakeholders within these accounts, increase the likelihood of closing deals, and maximize the lifetime value of each customer. By aligning resources and efforts towards the most promising accounts, ABS aims to achieve higher conversion rates and more substantial revenue growth.
